    Learners :D

    Well, just passed my theory test and have sitting infront of me a wonderful little temporary liscence

    In not too much longer (need a bike yet!) there'll be another learner loose on the streets!

    Hey congrats! Nice to know another keen biker is getting out on the roads - I guess you're now doing the hard yards into researching what you're going to get!

    Heck knows I've been scratching myself on the head over the plethora of options and information overload!

    Ride safe and just three business days until you get that nice little bit of blue plastic into your wallet (makes you feel all warm inside).

    Initially I wanted an FXR150 but it seems they're a bit small...

    So looking at perhaps a bandit 250, a spada... well any 4 stroke 250 sports/naked sports bike atm really

    Good choices all there - the 4 cylinder (Bandit, Hornet etc.) options have greater bhp than the V-Twins (Spada, VTR) but the V-twins have more torque, are more forgiving and are less likely to have had the arse revved out of them - The Spada is a fine choice if you can get one - the engines are bulletproof so look at overall condition rather than just mileage.

    I'm sure i'm jumping in ahead of Swanny here ... but how about a hyosung .. lol .. failing that ... a zxr250 .. i started on one of those and i tell you what .. it taught me to respect the machine ... i tell you what

    I'd love a Gt250r, but they're a bit pricey

    Really keen on a bandit now... just need to find one... theres one i like the look of but its in tauranga...
