I carry mine in a topbox. My laptop is one of the big 17 inch screen ones so by the time you put it in its bag it is pretty big so I had to buy the biggest topbox that Givi make. Its a greta system tho and farm better than the mickey mouse arrangement I had using the ventura soft bags before that. Next laptop will however only be a 15-16 inch screen model so it fits in a little easier.

The other advantage of the topbox is that not only is it weather proof it is also lockable so you can leave it on the bike if you need to do something on the way home. The GIVI box comes off in seconds once you unlock it if you want to use it like a briefcase or in my case a suitcase 'cos its quite big.

No no, you got it all wrong!! It's so I can stay on KB while on the bike, I can even be chatting on messenger etc 'coz it's too hard to get a cellphone under the helmet. At the correct angle, the screen also acts as a mirror for when I'm shaving or squeezing zits...

Well, there are enough people on the road who do it...

Looking for peoples advice on how they carry their laptops to work and back.

Main concern is the magnets affecting the Laptop HDD and also vibration if siting directly on the bike. Also would need to be waterproof/resistant.

Ive got an O'gio(sp) backpack thats actually designed specially for laptops. Looks like a standard pack and most people dont realise whats actually in it...

I made a special padded satchel for mine (just slips in and velcros across the top), which prevents it getting scratched...
Laptop -> satchel -> Ventura bag on the pack rack. I haven't had any problems with it yet!

Actually if you have your girlfriend sit astride you she can steer while you look over her shoulder at the ....... wait a minute is that where lap dancing got its name???????????????? Would it be more fun ONLY wearing a helmet???????

I velcro mine to the left hand side of my fairing, because I usually fall off on the left on the road and on the right on the track.

Laptops make great crash bungs.
