Not sure if it will still go without the dash though......anybody know?
    It'd be a wicked project
No the forks didn't compress into radiator(PM Tom )...forks look "ok" from an amateurs view though. The dash was damaged but we were able to get power to it after the crash but couldn't hear the fuel pump working. Tom has the dash...

Forks look "ok" as I mentioned above. The frame has minor scuffs...no deep stratches etc and appears to be fine. No dents at all..
In saying all of this I'm not mechanically minded but the others that have seen it reckon the "wreck" would be suitable for track racing.

Well if weather's ok we were planning to do this Pie Eating/road carving ride through the Coro Loop (never done) with Swanny and his merry crew. However if it's average weather come on up,more than welcome.
I "work" from home so anytime is usually good mate.

Cheers Trev will give hime a call.

I managed to get the radiator back so there is no probs with that now eather.

I too am not mechanicaly minded but as far as i can tell it just needs a new front wheel, they wrote it off because of the lack of fairing.

Yea, in answer to the question, i am interseted in making it a track bike myself, apart from the fairing it is race ready, would be good for clubmans...

but if someone offers me a good amount i will buy a new K7.

As far as gettin it back on the road it will cost $300 dollars to get it re regesterd and thats it.

    fairing repair & repaint
    new front wheel
    possibly new fork (or two)
    ... anything else?

I heard that if the bike has been written off by an insurer you need to have the chasis certified before you can re-vin it. Can anyone confirm this please?

it needs a new front wheel and a new radiator. It has no front faring or speedo.

Apart from that it is totally mint, no scratches or anything.

I have the faring, if you wanted to weld it up. It is de registerd.

I am wondering if anypone is interested to buy it, would make a mint track bike, or you could re build it and re regester it.

Let me know if you are interested, it was $20 000 new i am looking for around 5 -6k.

If as good as you say I will give you 5k tonight
