Good on you Race Me!!!!! for going out on the Thursday night ride. I don't yet have the guts for that coz I'd probably:

    a/ get left behind.
b/ hold up the other riders.
c/ bin my bike trying to keep up and riding beyond my ability.
d/ All or an assortment of the above.

Best of luck and once again fair play to you for having a go - you are a braver man than me.

I have not lost a newbie yet on the ride due to being 'left behind' or by them 'binning it' (even tho I cant say the same for the bigger bikes). I have quite a few riders on 250's, so you would not 'be out of place'. All I can say is "Come along and try it, if youre not happy you can leave at your own leisure".

I do cater for slower riders (as long as you don't crawl along at 60kph in a 100kph zone or anything stupidly slow like that...) I have a system that allows for the slower riders and so they dont get lost. Just ask any of the following riders: Pheniox, Johnny Rotten, MarkAuckland, Swanny, Buddy L, GTAe these guys are/have ridden 250's on the ride. If you would like to know anything else (no matter how small or silly) just PM me.

I'll be along soon enough, once you hear how bad my jokes are you'll wish I wasn't there!

I've just re-sprayed the fuel tank on the VTR and am waiting a few days for it to dry (last time I went out too soon and left some big knee dents in the lacquer...doh!)

Have a great time - really sounds like you'll be in safe hands.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
