Lost Ramp - Woodhill Sunday 06/08/06

Yup, I'm a muppet. Drove away from Woodhill yesterday and forgot that my ramp was still hanging off the back of the trailer. I know this is a long shot, but did anyone on here happen to pick up a Fly folding alloy bike ramp from Woodhill bike park yesterday?

I've phoned the warden and they are going to check at their depot to see if it's been handed in, but figured on the off chance that it was someone off here that found it that I would ask the question.

Bit gutted on this, not only do I have better things to spend my money on than replacing it (like new tyres), but I had to get it modified to fit my trailer, and it gets used for both my dirt bike and road bike.

There's a couple of dozen (insert your beer of choice here) for anyone that returns it.

    Cheers!

Just do what FF does and wheelie the front up on to the trailer then on the brakes to bring the back up on to it......works really well and is good fun to watch!

Can't help you with your ramp sorry. But as an add on I lost my safety glasses on Saturday. I was parked on the road right opposite where the park warden parks and believe I must have left them on my trailor. Probably run over but if anyone picked them up on Sunday, please let me know and I might shout you a heinie (not as valuable as a ramp, sorry).
Good luck with finding your ramp.

When he learns to do it with his R6, I'll consider giving it a go. The dirt bike I've got an old plank I can run it up with, but the Aprilia needs something more industrial strength.

Bugger, must have been a weekend for it, eh? You could try phoning Greg on 0274454429 as he's going to the depot tomorrow and can have a look to see if someone has handed them in.

good old italian bikes, spend more time on the trailer than under their own power.

Riiiiiight . . . are you implying that its because they are not reliable? The only bikes that have let me down have all been Japanese. The spaghetti slurper is yet to skip a beat. But then again, mine isnt an "old italian", so maybe you have some experience you'd like to share with the class?

Someone must know someone that has it. I know that if I find anything at the park I hand it into the guys at the hut.

Yeah, here's hoping. I dont hold much faith in people handing things in these days, but I've got my fingers crossed anyway.

Edit: Here's what I had last time, $169 from Botany Honda
