    Brands Hatch, Google Earth

Looking at Brands Hatch in Google earth, you can see that there is an event on. There's a couple of vehicles on the long circuit and ducati, possibly aprilia and arrows trucks in the pit paddock. Plus lots of vehicles in the spectator parking areas.

British superbikes only use the indy circuit, and I don't think it's last weekends superbike - due to aprilia truck - so I'm guessing the images must be from the wsbk a couple of years back. I hope they don't update the satellite image too often.

Note: Attached zip file is actually a .kmz file. Just rename it and you should be able to open it in google earth, else just search for 'Brands Hatch, UK'

It is updated every now aand again but only to increase the coverage I think, some of the images are fairly new, like my parents new garage is in it, but like the second bridge on the MW heading west aint there and that has been up for a while.

    Brands Hatch

Have just had a look at the Brands Hatch Pic.Certainly brought back some memories.Brands was my local circuit, and i didnt miss a single meeting between 1960 and 1967.Only differance is all the houses and buildings, dont think I would recognise it now.As a teenager we used to ride from Maidstone,my home town,to Johnsons Cafe on the A20 near Brands, have a couple of coffees, listen to records on the juke box,and then race back to Maidstone!Best fun was when I had my A7 shooting star, but then I got a Royal Enfield 700 Constellation, and the other guys in the crowd couldnt keep up with me,which sort of took the fun out of it.
