the comments at the bottom relate to him advertising them for boy racers. he has now deleted this from his ad.

Strange that ya see heaps of boy racers but if ya ask them they are not boy racers.

bit like murders, the offender gets caught but the offenders lawyer says he neva did it, strange that there is a dead body but no one killed them, oh well "dolly did it"

Oh - in that case I can't buy it, as I'm no longer a boy.
And anyway, I've nowhere to put it on the FahrtSturm, unless it'll plug in where the clock/voltmeter/laptimer currently resides.
And in any case, I need one of them friggin stupid "tiltometers" to tell me when I've overcooked it and about to land on my head.
Furthermore, Mrs SturmFahrter won't let me buy any more toys this month.
Or take my bike apart again.

Tough friggin luck - the bastard's not running quite right, and needs the head bearings tightened (so do I )
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

The solid-state accelerometer ICs in them things usually max out at 2 gees.

Didn't someone say somewhere once on this forum that F1 cars pull more than that in lateral acceleration through corners? Wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah i think F1 cars do up to 5g's lateral. I have seen that on the indy car races where they put the stats up and they get up to 5 going round those massively banked corners.

Saw those a few months ago, probably not that bad, just to add a bit of rice factor. Probably not that good on a motorbike though. They can't pull many lateral g's. Although some of the bigger bikes can do up to 1g in forward acceleration.

What about brakeing or decelerating force on the MV. 100-0 in like 1.3 seconds or something

we sell these things at work, can measure hp, quarter mile time, g force .... wank wank blah blah. We use them so transportes can check g force for static rollover thresholds...Never tried it myself, they plug into ciggy plug, or direct wire, would be interesting to play with on the TL though.

Trainspotting a bit, sorry, but apparently F1 cars have so much drag due to wings and stuff (cd>1), that just lifting off the throttle on a straight results in 1g+ deceleration (equivalent to full noise braking in a modern family car) - actually using the brakes gives 4g+

it would be a cool test though to see how much g we pull braking at the end of the back straight at puke
