    Bloody idiots!

coming up my street tonight...saw a set of headlights pull a fast hard u turn and take off. nothing unusual.
get to within a block of my house...see something white in the middle of my lane. looked wide and flat...sheet of painted plywood? get a bit closer...hullo...jagged edge thats 3-d. hang on, thats a bloody street sign!! whipped around it [was in no danger as had slowed down] parked in the driveway and ran back to get it off the road, but neighbours across the road got there first.
seems the car id seen had hit it only a few minutes before id got there. just lucky id slowed down, as i normally cane it up that street.
had one of those "feelings" that likely saved my bike. dunno what would have happened if i hadve actually had to go over it..... sign was busted into about 5 bits, scattered around my lane and the grass verge. will have a better look tomorrow if i can.

heh, i always cane it up my hill, most cars do about 30 (people who can actually drive do 50 on the straights).

me... well i can easily manage 50 in the corners....... and my bikes probably one of the loudest 250s out there - i reckon it pisses the neighbourhood off to no end

glad to hear of your averted accident sunhuntin

Take the Baffles out of the pipe - did it to my partners, now she thinks it sounds like a Harley!

It actually sounds more like someones taken the baffles out of the pipe

70-80k in a 50 zone? sounds bout right...and the same speed in a 100 zone, lmfao. as i say, was going slow enough to avoid everything...saw the remainder today...in 4 bits, with one peice still in the ground. but i nearly hit was of course the longest and had the street names on top.

yeh, got a mate who took the baffles out of his. very distinct sounding bike now
