Well, isn't that interesting. I hardly see anything about GSX1400's on the forums and then decide to post a review on this great bike under the review section and the very next day an article appears on this very bike under General Bike Stuff.

I am passionate about this machine. It's a hell of a lot of bike for the money
and very underated. Most the reviews are done by journo's who think you have to redline a bike to get the best run figures. Do that on this machine and you are going to be disappointed. The torque bands best hit is 4500-7000rpm and after that, change up to do it again. It will pull stumps at 2500rpm. Handling? No issue at all.

Yeah Josh, I'm not a trumpet blower and it's hard not to come acrosss on the forums as an ego myster. I'm not into egos or any of that crap but yeah, it goes real bloody well for it's size.

As Rayza said last Saturday when he see's it cornering, "it looks unnatural to see that huge thing just drop right into corners." Another fellow rider last Saturday said "it defies the law of physics"


It still blow me away that something weighing quarter of a tonne wet, can handle the way it does, totally stock too.

You are spot on there Lou. Very satisfying indeed and the added bonus is, you don't need to go to the gym for a work out. Exercise actually becomes real good fun.

i had a look at an ohlins equiped gsx1400 today [im not sure if thats normal or not] and they look really good! but i cracked a fat over the new zx10 and k5 thou.

whats the difference between the gsx1200 and a bandit? other than style all i know is the gsx 1200 has twin rear shocks like the 1400.

I do know the Bandit has a monoshock.

They say a Gsx 1400 is one of the quickest around up to 100kms as it is. the Wes Cooley version would be slower as Jap market models are normally detuned
to comply with their laws. Another thing if Suzuki want to bugger the market with cheap bikes good on them .More bums on seats the better. But maybe Im biased
