Damn a***ole cager

I was coming up the southern motorway today, i have a car driver sitting back with a good following distance we are puttering along at about 108 kph.... quite happily..... it drops down to a 80 kph zone....so i dropped down to about 89 ish..... still keeping with speed of traffic of lanes next to me .....the guy behind me slows down also keeping a good following distance...then comes up behind me we are talking like 1 metre maybe slightly less behind my bike i mean this guy is really damn close...

so i tried to speed up a bit and he still persisted on sitting up my arse at this stage there is a space in the lane on our left for him to move into...so i went abit ahead and jumped on the brakes for a split second...(made sure i was well ahead first obviously) and gave him a little back off waving hand signal .... i look back at him and he gives me a nod and a thumbs up....

and he backs right off to again a good following distance...he then after another 20 seconds or so flies into thelane on my left comes speeding past me i mean hes going for it....then as hes going past gets his drink bottle with no lid on it which is full and start splashing water all over me from about a car length infront in the lane to my left....after 3 splashes he throws the bottle at me i managed to swerve and just miss it.... and he gives me a one fingured salute and speeds off ahead...

i mean what the hell is wrong with some people!!!!! the rego was RB9000 a navy blue ford falcon...maybe a 98 or so model?

Follow 'em till they stop in traffic then do a mirrodectomy as you split past.

Good grief, sounds like hes a mental defect and couldn't handle the fact you were being sensible! Glad you didn't end up being roadkill - did you report it into the boys in blue?

nope, i doubt they would do anything about it ..and yeah at first thought it may have been an undercover cop so kept a very close eye on my speed i do now anyways not worth the risk.

Umm go to the police and get him charged, he used his vehicle in attempt to assualt you , members on here have been charged from joe public ringing up so get off your arse and go do it.

Maybe PM one of the cops on here for advice on the proper channels to do this.

Asshole, there is little you can do really, he has a cage around him...you dont. Sux but true. In a moment of rage in a similar scenario, i punched a cages mirror nearly off onto the road, but in hindsite, i am lucky the prick didn't just swerved and make me motorway meat. Best just to let it lie, or stop next to him in traffic when he is stopped and give him a straight left through the window.

If he was an undercover cop then definately report it. Even the dumbest of them wouldn't pull shit like that.... hope.

no wasn't a cop i just thought it may have been at first thats why i was minding my speed through the 80 ...definately not a cop matei was just syaing thats why i was dfoing the speed i was not that i speed anyways but everybody else seemed to continue along at about 110 kph in other lanes....

only thing is ...i'm on my learners and if i get him charged questions will be asked ...due to 70 kph restriction

had a white van doing the same....right up my ass, then drop off and then come back. this was on foxton straits...heaps of places he couldve safely passed. i was doing 110k and he was still right there.
they putting in another passing lane, and its 70k along the roadworks, which goes for a k or so. i was doing about 71k and flashing my brake lights. get past the works and theres a sign for another passing lane. so for the 400m between sign and actual passing lane i stuck to 70k and then as soon as i hit the passing lane i rolled the accelerator and made him struggle to pass. heheheh. follow me to close, tosser.

id report the guy that threw the water at you mate...someone else might have swerved and had an accident...not all two wheels can keep their cool in times like that. next time it might be a newbie who wont know how to get out of the situation. edit: mark, they likely wont ask your speed. i think i read somewhere that cops wont question that when reporting a dangerous driver [but i may be wrong]
