It what was implied though wasnt it. Petrol and chlorine is the same I think, dad showed me once after learning it on a firefighting course, and sure enough in our garden shed sitting on the shelf right above the petrol tin was the chlorine .

i think its more acid-base reaction but my chemistry is a bit out of it. Anyway if im right what it means mark is that you get a very violent reaction that creates a lot of heat, which in some cases would probably result in fire, if not severely fucking up (read stripping) the paintwork off the car and probably buckling the panels too.
