Suzuki accessories

I guess I could get this question answered if I went along to my nearest Suzuki dealer, but until I get a chance to do that, I thought I'd quiz you folks.

I was looking on Suzuki's UK website recently and found myself in the accessories area (frame bobbins, yoke protectors, gel seats, double bubbles - that sort of thing) and was interested in a couple of items (suitably gay and of no performance enhancing merit whats so ever, but they will make my bike look pretty.

Suzuki's NZ website has no such similiar area for genuine accessories, actually their website doesn't even show a GSXR750K6 for sale, only the limited edition 750K5.

Does anyone know if Suzuki NZ can source these accessories ? And if yes has anyone got stuff from them in the past?

They should be able to get them in if you ask them, other dealers can.
Make shure you have the part numbers with you though, makes it easier.

I use this website: http://www.suzukicycles.com/Accessories/

If you find an item you want, take the description to your local Suzuki dealer.
If the part isn't available in the country, they'll get it shipped from Japan. Usually 7-12 working days wait.

I've ordered Crown trims, tank pads, screens, tail fairings etc. Never had any problems.

Forget buying anything off Suzuki....they charge like wounded bulls...plenty of gixxer websites on the net with heaps of links for buying that sort of gear and more for a hell of alot cheaper than a stealership will ever give it to you for.....and alot more to choose from.

Don't forget to visit RD 1 for your "must have" Suzuki accessories: Fencing tools and wire cutters. These tools will help you extract your Suzuki from the farmer's fence and repair it as you go.

I found http://solomotoparts.com/catalog/ to be pretty good. They shipped my crash bungs in reasonable time. The instructions were only so so though, but Jimbo600 helped me there. Couldn't have done it without him really.

Not questioning your post just wondering why the 1000 over the 750....i have been considering another bike (refuse to sell the TL) and looked at heaps of options..if it was a sports bike i would take the 750 over the 1000 so am interested in others opinions on the two of them.

Good read..cheers for that...The TLi have is Awsome,does everything real well and i love it to bits....ie will never sell it.Dont have to use a bike for getting to work etc so if buying a bike purely for the twisty bits and having fun/scareing myself stupid i reckon the 750 would be the business for the money spent..although a few mods are bound to happen just think that for solely that purpose the 1000 is overkill........sorry for basterdizing this thread........

I've had the 750K6, 600K6 and 1000K5 out recently, on demo. The 750 is a SUPERB bike and very useable and a real different experience compared to the 600 (both mine and the K6). I had a lot of fun on the 750 it has a tonne of torque and sounds great, but when I compared it to the 1000 - the 1000 just does it all and more and more and more, when you look at the prices they are reasonably close, I just reckon the 1000 is more bang for your buck, also and I know this is BS, but I really am not sure about the looks of the 750. But if money is an issue when I trade up then I'll be VERY happy with the 750.
