    2stroke troubles - only 1cyl working

    hey guys, i have an RGV250 and it seems to occasionally just run on the one cylinder..

    cant be arsed copying and pasting and loading up photos again, so please go here for more info:

    It's a two smoker. Pointless considering ANYTHING else until you've repalced the plugs. That oily one is certainly dead.

    New set off plugs and even leads then come back and ask if that dont work it cant be a seizure cause the other cylinder wont work so try that and before you put plug back in have it in HT lead and rest on cylinder head dont hold it and turn bike over do you have spark?

    after you have replaced the plugs cover the hole in the stone guard with some duct tape (lower cylinder) they get covered in road crud otherwise

    Plugs, clean out the carbs, there could be crap sitting in the bottom of the bowl, do you have a couple of small inline filters? and replace the aircleaners, you can get the material for CHEAP! from para rubber.
