Compilation of must visit shops in Auckland?

So I'm heading up to the shore in a couple of weeks (going friday 1st sep coming back on the following monday) and while I'm there, I thought I might take the opportunity to visit a few bikes shops and have a good look around. (since there are only 2 shops I would go to in Palmy)

I'm thinking cyclethreads on sunday since they're open on sundays now, but who should I visit on Saturday? What are the good shops to visit that's open on saturdays? and could you please tell me until what time they're open? (so that I can plan my saturday around it...) Keeping in mind that I'll be based in browns bay.

Also last time I was there most of the motorway north of Harbour bridge was 80km/hr... is this still the case? Is there much work going on motorway these days?

    Thanks!

[edit] - oh and what are the nice roads to ride around auckland? (preferbly near the shore) I'm thinking I might have sometime on sunday for a ride...
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........

Pop in and have a chat to the guys at Colemans Suzuki, great friendly people, full of advice, nice bikes, nice range of accessories. Also Cycletreads in Takapuna, can't think of anything else.

Speed limit on the bridge is 80, once you are off the bridge its back up to 100 (or so)

hahahaha.... I love tourists... the entire motorway is just about permanently under construction... the whole of spaghetti junction has been a construction zone for years

Shops on saturday are generally open until 2-ish (colemans, amps etc)... Mt Eden is open till 5-ish I think, cycletreads is open sunday as well.

"Motorway" (snigger) is 80 from newmarket flyover until north of bridge, and same zone going south.
