I didn't see any Gixxer's come past me today..................

Thanks for the photo's mate !! Mint.

A few weekends of photos like that for sale (heard you had more than a few requests - no wonder with a package like that ...big boy ), you could have the $$ for a race bike in no time, then we'd be in trouble .

Yeah thought about that on the way home. Thing is I do that shit all week and the last thing I want to do is work weekends. Far easier to sell Kaths bike and buy me a race bike. The dog would fetch a bit too.

Good racing yesterday mate. Its alot better watching the action when you know someone out there.

A gixxer didn't come past ya cos they're crap

If you are going to ride the 750 or the 600 you need to use the gearbox. That is what it is for. If you wont to roll on then you need a bigger bike. If you keep the Gixxer in the7k and up rev rang you will never be short of power. If you keep it in the 5k to the 8k rang then it is easy to change up or down. In fact I never use the clutch once I am out on the road. I like the way the 750 handles and mine is getting old now. I was never one for mods but with the carb rejeted and the K/N in and the Yoshi on the back it has a tone of grunt over the standard Gixxer. The only thing that stops it being a winner on the road is me on the front cos I do not want to drop it or kill my stupid self. I got addicted to the 750 after I took a friends 1986 Gixxer for a ride. I just couldn't settle till I got one. Got a 1996 now and it makes me smile.
    GO THE GIXXER.
Sorry you don't like the K5 poo's but I can not see what you want to do that you can't do. Hell man just rev it to the 11+k and it is going to give you one hell of a ride. You will be busy cos it is going to be so responsive. and if you are on the road you better stay in first.

So if I wanted to ride a bike from Wgtn to Ak (in a day) in a sports riding style/attitude, then I should get a GSXR?

Fuckin A I did, and my only complaint was a sore arse from taking the straight route thru Matamata.

I left work at 2.30pm and was at Chez Poos in the rapa by 11.30 with a Manfurly in my hand.

The tight bastard didn't buy any Tui.

Poos has done it on his 750 too but in reverse. He cried about the rain tho.
