I've been to my old bin site a few times...seems like everytime I've been there, someone else has recently done the same thing (barrier on the way to Old North Rd, it's munted now)...still makes me feel no better.

Retrospective... Has anybody admired my skidmark in the Kaitoke passing lane? It gives me strange chills each time I see it.

Yes I did notice it the last time I was down that way and actually wondered if the rider was OK after it. Did not until now realise that it was your handy work Hitcher.

Honestly, I didn't realise you meant THAT corner when you told me you'd be stopping down Mang Rd. I thought you wanted to get a clip of a mono too so I was all prepared to do a wee one when I turned around and came back but you were facing the opposite direction bird watching or something??

THAT corner will probably always freak me out.

Poor bike! Glad to hear you were okay and thumbs up to fellow biker(s) helping you out. Yeah, I went back to the spot where I tried to plant my bike on the 2nd day of riding into a nice lawn! I took pictures and went over all the noob things I did. Then I went back for a 3rd time to find my toe slider protector lost from my boot. Never did find it! (If anyone knows where I can get a Dainese toe protector let me know!)

Thanks for sharing your reflections and kudos to everyone else doing so also!

Got to love the feeling of the front tucking in after clipping cat eyes at pace and lean, always managed to save it so far and its one aspect of my riding I know I have to fix as luck dont last forever.

Get a bit lane splitting as well especially in the wet, get used to it after awhile
