Hi just got my learners. I'm 35 and looking at a new 2006 Kawasaki GPX250r to learn on for the next 12 months. Does any one own one or can provide some thought?
Cheers![]()

yes if you can afford it, get one, altho i'd be a little hesitant about laying down $6000 on a first bike, you might crash, then again, I haven't, and i've been riding for what must be 4 years now

Thanks Andy. Was looking at a Hyosung GT250r as well but prefer to stick to a name brand despite the Hyosung looking very sexy!![]()
the hyosungs are making a good name for themselves. The "new" gpx is a shadow of what it was 15 years ago on paper. would be interesting to see what one is like in real life.
Hear what your saying about the gpx...Looks reliable though. The GT250 Hyosung does however look way better...like the digital speedo and general look of the bike...don't think I would grow out of either in a hurray but would like to hear from other bikers who own them.
gpx is probably one of the most reliable 250's going
