Well tonight there was f'all on TV that interested me so I thought it was about time I watched the Silk Riders DVD. Not far into the movie there was Brendan holding up a copy of Kiwi Rider for all to see - nice one!!

Bugger got a bit of dyslexic typing on the title of this thread - can a mod fix that?

So, how was it? Surely they showed more than KR? Where did you get it from?
Only seen the book in shops (yeah, read it).

Got my copy of the DVD and the book at Sawyer/Motorad bike shop in Wellington. I'd told Brendan I wouldn't buy a copy until he could get it signed so a couple of weekends ago Gareth was back from his USA trip so the two of them at least signed a copy of the book for me.

The DVD is typical Gareth, more social and political comment than that about biking - maybe its because they didn't have so much bike and personal trouble as the Last Hurrah boys. The bikes getting punctures is about all that was said about them. I would've have liked to know more about the bike side of the trip, not just stuff about the places they went and the people they met.
