No worries mate.... Is the frame straight? Yep. Ok then.

As long as you dont mention the oil on the rear brake and the wobbly swingarm you'll be sweet
    :s Did you say hassles?

    Be warned

Ride or race you rg the bloody thing is goin to blow up
and when it does - there not worth rebuilding
mine did a bottom end bearing after some hard thrashing and some good servicing for 2 years.
    rebuild was over $1.8K
so i say either ride it till it dies (cos they are such cool bikes) - or sell it (not reccommended)

I need a bigger bike, but heres the problem, ive only been riding 6 months therefore cant get a bike bigger than 250 on the road

These are the options i have........

    1) Keep the RG150 as a road bike and Race bike....

    2) Keep the RG150 as a road bike and get a 400 for F3 racing...

    3) Sell the RG150 get a RGV250 and a F3 race bike.....

or 4) Get a RGV250 for the road and keep the RG150 as a race bike....

Ofcourse im still in the saving money process but need to know what too look for

Cheers for the help, and can you please comment on personal experience etc
As I'd say forget the Suzuki and get a Honda. Na really thats one for you to answer.

RGV250 -I hear nothing but good things about the pace of those things. Or get a huge dirt bike and go thrash the life out of that

Geez, this came up from the dead lol, i better update it.....

As you can see in my Avatar, that is me racing my RG150..... I now have a ZXR400L which is being turned into a F3 Race bike..... My K5 GSX-R600 will be here either next week or the week after....

Decided on no to the RGV, because of maintainance and the fact that i highsided one a couple of weeks ago....

My RG150 is MINT at the mo, hasnt seized, have rebuilt it at about 29000kms.... and now has braided brake lines.... should be good for another 15000kms.....

So in the end i have got 3 bikes now

You might want to look into racing your RG150 unless you can afford to race in F3.

From what I can gather from you, I don't think you'll be leaving the road bike riding scean anytime soon so a 2 smoke 250 for the road might just be perfect to enhance your skills.

IMO I'd keep the mighty RG for racing and get a RGV250 road bike

LOL, MR changed his opinion when he learnt about the GSX-R600, And F3 racing is a similar cost to SS150 racing.... Ill look at F2 racing at the end of 2005, then i need the $$$ for racing
