Colemans vs Haldanes vs Mt Eden

Now the bandit needs a service and previously I have taken it to Colmans, one because the give good service and two they were right accross the road from work.

Now I have moved offices and happen to be just round the corner from Haldanes and Mt Eden Motorcycles and not to sure what to do.

Any one had any bad or good experience with these guys or would recomend a stand out preformer. Would be good to here your opinions.

I used to work just around the corner from there as well... about 50m down the road. Haldanes was great with their customer service and Tony (parts) always went out of his way to lend a hand and answer questions. I'd heard nothing but good things about Mt Eden from other workmates that prefered to go there as well. I suspect you've got a choice of two good shops

I tend to think that if you are known at a shop and they look after you, stick with them. But make sure you tell them that you are.

Colemans are only 2 mins away from Mt Edens anyway. I'd probably continue to support them if it were me and I had previously been going there.

On the other hand I have nothing but excellent service from Mt Edens.

Haldanes.....Been in there a few times and In my experience they are the most unhelpful bunch I have ever encountered. (In my experience) but I'm sure someone has had good service from them?

I cant reccomend richard (squid) and the boys at Haldanes enough. And Ill second the recomendation for Tony in parts. Always bends over backwards to help me.
Only trouble is -and I guess it shows how the bar has been raised. --I could say exactly the same thing about Colemans or Mt edens.
I'd go to Haldanes ---becausr they are Suzuki dealers

As is Colemans???? Hard choice there... But as Lou said, it is better to build up a relationship with a bike shop and be loyal to them unless they fuck you over... Havent heard bad things about Mt Eden or Haldanes...

And as Frosty said, Squid is an awsome guy...

By vehicle. Makes a difference if you have to drop your bike off at colmans and walk to Mt Eden for work and then back again in the afternoon.

Big ups to richard (squid) at Haladanes for doing a good job. If you are looking at a change then Haldanes gets my vote.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!
