It's more fun to learn the hard way
To be honest I am gonna take it real easy, One of the main reasons I wanna get a 600 now is because I have to decide if I wanna take my racing to the next step, f2. If I do then I need to get some experiance of a 600.
Dont worry dude I wont die im bullet proof

if you can't afford third party insurance, how do you afford to put petrol in the tank?? for you it'd probably be about $50 for me it's about $20 but i've got full cover which cost $240

My insurance is about $1500 a year. for a bike that is worth $3.5k I dont see how that is feesable. And why would I want third party?

For when you put your $3.5k bike into the side of a $150k BMW while lane splitting. But hey, you want to leave hospital to sign the bankruptcy paperwork, that's up to you. I'm just a boring old fart, obviously.

Leave the guy alone for fuck sake, it is his problem if he is involved in an accident and I'm sure he is intelligent enough to be aware of the basic consequences of being involved in an accident as he has already been in a few.

    Yeh true.

On a more positive note... I found it works out cheaper to include bike insurance with other policys and get a discount.

IE. Contents + Car + Bike means they're cheaper than individually..

I think protecta wanted like $550 for a years fully comp on it's own, but combined it with the others with another company and it's down to $350 fully comp.

    Worth looking into.

In order that people can give you valuable feedback could you please advise what you would base your application for excemption on?

I had toyed with the idea of applying for excemption but hey - it's only 9 months from BHS to full licence anyway and I'm halfway there already - I would base it on size coz VTR is too small for me.

Got the exemption, and the bike to go with it.
