Wink The aural sounds of a police chase

I was looking after a mates place in Ponsnobby - he and his missus with sprogs were down to the Coro. Pretty kewl deal, feed the pets and watch a whole evening of rugger after the 250 bike ride. This morning I was up with the birds and heard a bike blatting around the area, fark'n loud as - he was doing this for a good while. I guess the time was around 7.30ish because I knew that would upset the Gay Lynnites as well.

True enuff, I heard the clarion call of the boys in blue - they must have been chasing him down from a complaint. Hilarity ensued, heard the bike blatting its nuts off and the siren getting nearer then farther then nearer.

After 5 minutes of this, I think they wised up their siren was probably waking up more people then the bike ever was! I can only assume the biker left a clean pair of treads with the rubber side down.

Nice way to start the day - and tootled off back down south enjoying the moronway to myself mostly!

shame about someone getting their bike stolen - they should do what I do - semtex and a mobile phone under the saddle - anyone nicks it they'll have to requisition a new arsehole from somewhere.

duh-damn - that was someone getting their bike nicked? I was paranoid enuff when I was at my mates place that I wheeled my ride into the covered patio area and moved a trailer in front of it and stuck the boot meant for the trailer onto my bike!
