I'm gutted...

I can't believe it...I didn't ride my bike today!

I had to take my cage to school today so I can drop off my table tennis team to Homai. I think the effect it had on my cage driving was markable by the speed drifting up ... and up... and up! Found myself going way too fast in urban area and had to consciously lower the speed to legal limits!

Is this a natural thing due to the exhilirating ride on two wheels and trying to ruefully re-enact this in a poor cage substitute?

I was considering taking the bike out now for a quick blat...but I'm dog tired and I know it ain't a good idea to ride when feeling like this

I guess I will have to make up for it with an extra long ride to somewhere nice tomorrow after school finishes! Mebbe West Auckland - haven't been that ways yet on the Hornet (and other parts too...)

yes.... I've found myself in similar situation.... luckly I don't drive a cage often without my girlfriend, who when in the passenger seat, constantly monitors the speedo for me and alert me with cues to ensure that I remain wthin speed limit..... oh did I mention... I'm half deaf???

it's annoying since I've gotten used to the sound of the bike to a point where I don't really need to monitor the speed constantly but in a car I do, which with reduced visibility, just don't make me feel safe... I tried out my new earplugs the other day, funny, it made me ride faster.... (found myself revving the shit out of the bike without meaning too.....)

The only obvious problems I have when I go back to the cage are:

Trying to change gear with the clutch.
Trying to brake with the accelerator pedal and right hand side of the steering wheel.
Countersteering on motorway bends.

apart from that it's fine.

I find I try to compensate for the lack of noise by revving the bike until it sounds as loud as it used to. First and second get a good workout and you use heaps of gas.

Funny, I had to drive the cage the other day. I got in, switched it on, waggled the gear stick a few times and could *not* get the neutral light to come on.

Then it dawned on me. Ooops.

For some reason when driving my car i can only get my knee down on right handers, anybody know why this is?????

duhdamn - at least I'm in good company here, anyone found out how to adjust the mirrors from inside? Then I remembered...duh...I have those auto powered adjusters inside my car! Found out it took a long time to wipe my windscreen on the cage with my little squeegee visor cleaning tool...and also wondered why my indicator switch kept leaping into my hand (duh, thats right, it ain't the throttle control!), I smacked my head into the drivers window when I tried to lean right also into a right turn and wondered if I had a hole in the fuel tank when I filled it up...50litres??? That can't be right!!!

I'll say no more on my retard cager ways
