    Talk about windy.......

Anyone else ride in the huge winds down south today...myself and a mate set off to go up to otematata to see OldRider and do a tiki tour round the lakes...winds were pretty bad through to Duntroon but Farkin hell we got to Kurow and decided to have a smoke and reassess the suituation..my mate whos not a small bloke was sitting on his 1200 Bandit when these huge gusts came through...he almost dropped the bike and his smokes took off down the road...that was enough for us..high tailed it back home..the ride home was awsome as the wind at our backs.

Wind strength here was force 9 or above all day until after 4:00 this afternoon. My bike stayed in the shed.
    Time to ride

Wind down here was bloody strong too - and wet with it for a couple of hours around mid day. Had hoped to take the Transalp out this arvo but left it where it was and gave it a polish instead. Got blown sideways a few times this morning around the farm on the KDX.
Meant to be calmer tommorrow but maybe some showers.
