Shooting Turkeys

Always been a bit of Triumph fan as this brand was my first bike. Now they make the biggest bike ever.

So if you want to shoot the turkeys at the next biker meet this is what you'll need.

As a huge triumph fan myself I am disappointed. The big pistons, the red hot exhausts blah blah blah. For what? Another 140 hp boulevard bike?

Far nicer motorcycles from triumph include the Daytona and the Thruxton.

both reflective of the history of the company coupled with modern technology and innovative styling.

I hate to draw the obvious conclusion about the rocket because I like fat balding men with tatoos too much. Each one should come with a prescription for beta blockers.

My friend has an unhealthy obsession with that bike, hell I'd either drop it at the lights or plow into the back of someones car.

Unless you don't have an interest in sports bikes or you find the speed twin to be a bit silly.But if you would like a bike that handles,has plenty of power an couldn't be mistaken for an HD clone and is British then it becomes quite interesting.A very good thing about the revived Triumph Co' is that they are making bikes for most tastes.If you want old style with modern tech then look no farther than the new Bonnies or Thruxton,if you want sports then the new 600 or 900s will do the job.the tiger and Rocket are both a bit different but to me that just makes them both even more desirable.I reckon the Rocket with a small screen will make one hell of a tourer.
Ok so you need a small hyd' jack to change the rear tyre but I'm sure there will be room in the boot
Wonder when Triumph will make a real dirt bike???

I think its going to be one of those 'love it or hate it bikes! Me, I love it.
This could satisfy my hidden desire to own a cruiser [again]when nothing at present appeals to me - and lets pretend that money isn't required.
I've owned a Honda twin cruiser and a Harley before so I know that feet up cruising is fun but never try and race someone. Until now that is. Sounds like the Rocket more than deserves it's namesake. And thanks Skyryder for the free bike review link.

I think that I could go for it, but lanesplitting would tend to knock cars off the road.

It could also be good for towing a caravan.

I love it. It looks better the more photos I see of it. Cruisers are fun, although I don't think I'd want one as an 'only' bike.

And, for the same money, I'd rather have a Rocket III than a V-Rod.
