Hey, kids! Captain Hero here with Getting Laid Tip 213 - The Backrub Buddy!
Find a chick who’s just been dumped and comfort her by massaging her shoulders, and soon, she’ll be massaging your prostate.
Q. where dose this bike import from??
A. Hi Sorry, I can't reveal my suppliers. I import from around the world.
Hmmm.
Personally, I would prefer to import my own rather than deal with a guy who won't say what country he got the bike from.
Edit: I'd rather buy from someone who knows how many cc's an R1 has too!
Looks to good to be true and when thats the case, it also tends to turn out that way. I'm sure there will be nil warrenty either, makes me wonder whats wrong with them as they are being sold far too cheaply. I'll stick to the dealers eh. I'm certian it would be less of a nightmare in the long run...

That guy is just too evasive on the questions. It is possible that these are bikes that have been stolen in overseas countrys, and our man here doesn't even know it.
He is indeed getting a lot of publicity, he put up the auction on Thursday night last week and I called him the next day Friday.
He sounded a bit dogey from my gut feeling and just didn't sound all to right but then again hey I could be proven wrong. I said " So do you personally ride a bike and what bike do you ride'?
He stuttered and mumbled away and said "Aah it's a cruiser, what's it called, um ahh" and I was just silent and didn't help him out and was just listening away.
He then took all his time and named some bike a 500 cc cruiser. We had a chat and he gave me his e mail. I asked him to checkout out ZX 6 R and GSXR 600 2004 - 2006 model.
He hasn't replied yet.
You could get hold of reg/chassis numbers and maybe do some online DMV (US) checks. If ya can do that online in NZ, then you can do it o/seas maybe.
"If life gives you a shit sandwich..." someone please complete this expression
Personally, I'd be weary to get involved in a deal that sounds too good to be true.
Same here SuperDave, it's just too much hassle in the long run. Might as well pay normal price and get a good bike aye.
He just sounded a little too dogey (and definitely not confident at all) to me and it's a bit obvious he doesn't know much about bikes. But I guess time will tell.
If you guys want imported bikes... Go to Motohaus and chat to Kerry.
He has quite a few imported bikes sitting there... and at a reasonable price.
All Vinned, WOF and Rego'ed.
Plus you get to see them and take them for a spin as well.
He has cruiser's, sports and scooters.
There have been scams overseas where people never got the bike that they paid for. If anyone is really keen on buying a bike off this dude just make sure you recieve the goods prior to handing over your hard earnt $$$.

If he said the bikes have arrived, just go and have a look at them.
If he's genuine I'm sure he would'nt mind inspection and a quick recording of serial numbers.

He would have to have falsified de-rego papers for them, and sales documents from whoever he 'bought' them from. My only concern is that they are stolen, I have no doubt that whoever wins the auction or buys directly will receive their goods. I wouldn't however give him a deposit on an ordered bike, his risk then not yours. He can sell it on trademe otherwise.
