    I wouldn't trust him. He's owned at least 3 Honda's.

Why don't we go over there tonight, check out his offices, do a little 'snooping', find out what he knows? I can imagine his emails to his 'superiors' in the other countries:

Sarah and James: Me again. These NZer's are real suckers. I mean, a brand new CBR600RR for $8k???

PS What is the CC rating on a 2006 Yamaha YZF-R1000?

Superior: Good. Next we'll sell that Enzo for $20,000, or swap for a '00 Corolla.

    PS Try Googling it?

Maybe it's another attempted scam by Winston Peters to write off corporate tax? Buy new motorcycles in the US, freight to another country, report stolen/lost in transit, claim back GST for the freight, and also sell the bikes duty-free for a small profit?
    Get Ian Wishart to investigate.

Anyhow, enough stipulating, I should be studying.

I spoke to him today regarding the R6, he seemed ok, a little bit short on the knowledge side of things however! I asked whether i could take the R6 out for a ride when it gets here to check that it is ok, and he seemed very accomodating, but i suppose the real test will be in the product...
He also didn't understand about the headlight set up issue in different countries, but he did talk convincingly about how he procured the bikes...he told me that he gets Aprilia's from Italy, and looks internationally for bikes to inport.
I will post some feedback o the R6 once i have been informed that he has it, and has let me take it for a ride.

Could be legit after all - bikes are cheaper in many other countries due to the whole supply and demand thingumy. We are a tiny set of islands on the back side of nowhere with a really really small population and therefore people don't really value us as a market. They won't drop their dacks to get a piece of NZ trade action in other words.

This is why we have to pay so bloody much for mundane cars like Alpha Romeo, Fiat, Audi, Volkswagen and cheeky sales buggers call them prestige automobiles they are mid market Euro cars nothing more.

So this guy's bottom line could just be that he has a good value freight service.

Looking forward to R6 Kids' feed back.....

My Dad kept his eye out and eventually got the Montesa. $5000, probably worth about 8000. Blimmin good deal

And I work mimimum wage at a supermarket. A few bucks saved is a few more hours I don't have to work

    And that is dodgy...

It looks a bit dodgy but it could just be that he has no real idea of bikes. I would definitely want to see them in person before putting any money on though.

Both auctions have been pulled by Turdeme admin, they have to be pretty extreme in dodginess to be pulled so thaty answers all the questions I reckon.

After having asked him to call, and he had not, the next comment was

Hey, motorcyclists here stick together, shaft one and you are shafting them all

its becoming a common occurance for a legit account, ie sarah's in this case, to have been hacked/password scammed and then bikes pop up for sale very cheap on the account, the "bike" normally end ups being located in lebanon or chinisea type place, and if your dumb enough to do a non trace able money transfer, they will take your money. nigerian scams but with bikes.
