Bludging a ride to Hamilton from Auckland?

    Ki KBers,

I have a wee logistical problem. I need to pick up a car from Hamilton this week, so I need to get there without another vehicle in tow. Doing this with our other car would be too expensive and impractical, and I'm getting aggravated with searching for bus services online.

Long story short, if anyone is heading that way anyway with a little spare room and wants some fuel money/other koha/bribes/remuneration and company, I would be most grateful if you could assist me with this organisational quandry.

If you can help, email me on ross_dellow@xtra.co.nz

I'm not fussy about where in Hamilton you drop me...I just need to get there.

    Cheers, Phurrball/Ross

Bicycling is far more efficient...but I am too fat, lazy and out of shape and Mrs P would be angered by the slowness. Even a hippie's time is valuable, but maybe in lentils rather than dollars...

Surely you pick up hitch-hikers Finn?? We could chat cordially about Helen Clark and the wonder that is the current Labour govt

Isn't there a train service running between Auck/Hams in the mornings due to the amount of people commuting? Or am I confusing this with a proposed service?

A big vote of thanks to Quasi for helping the Phurrball family get the 'new' family wagon from Hamilton. Well worth three trips to Hamilton in three days - '97 Caldina for 3.5K - an excellent, if dead boring, transport appliance in addition to the bikes.

Nice to see KB working positively,

Hope those beers taste good Brett

    Cheers,

    Ross/Phurrball.
