    Yeah, me too.
    Didja read the forum (or was it another one about the same bike...? ) - there's much more to it than first appears, with a custom subframe, and fairing, forks, tank, wheels, etc off other models of bikes.
    ... and that's what I think.

    There's also a lot of criticism of it from people in that forum too.
    I reckon they should either attempt to build a better (yeah, right), or jump off a cliff !!!

    I reckon it looks nice and balanced style-wise just like it is.

    The strange thing about "restoration" is that even with vintage guitars, if you restore one and change or improve components such as the tuners, you'll always have the die-hard purists who'll say "that's not original".

    Speaking of original, here's a '94 CBR1000F that's for sale for $7,800 AUD. One owner who has service records to prove she's been serviced every 3,000 km from new. There's 78,000 kms on the clock.
