Finaaly some good luck comes my way!

After Writing my bike off last week, and slaving over exam study for the last two, I was beginning to feel a little down on it.

That was until this afternoon at about 5pm, when I received a call from the nice constable at Mt Wellington Police, to tell me my bike, which was stolen late 2002, has been recovered and I can pick it up tomorrow!

I can't believe they found it!

I am a happy man right now, can't wait to see it and assess how much abuse it's had since I lost it

What sort of bike? Was it the other zxr? If so you may be able to canabalize the two into one.

Good to hear they came through for you. I take it this means they got the little shit who took it. Hopefully they get one of these

Yeah mate, rideable and all, few dents in the tank etc, but apparently it's still going and all that.

It's my first ZXR250, had fairly low k's - dunno about now...

Had a brand new set of pirellis on it when it was pinched etc, so can't wait to see how it looks

I get the payout for the crashed bike this week, so some new riding gear is in order - woo hoo, new gear!

I'm absolutely bloody stoked for you Shannon.

    Congratulations.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Sweet man. Did they catch the bastards that stole it or did it just show up somewhere?

Hopefully it is going sweet and you will be back on the road.

Bit of a long story...This guy got done for receiving, but the guy who actually stole it (first) was busted pushing it down the road with no plate. When the police came back to pick the bike up after taking the guy back to the station, It was GONE again. That was a year ago. Now it pops up again, and it's not getting away this time!

Actually I may have spoken too soon, it seems to have vanished off the face of the earth again! Nobody knows where the hell it is!

If it's been re-stolen again I will be so pissed off!

You have got to be kidding. It got stolen from the cop shop?? Now why doesn't that surprise me, hmmm. The guy that was guarding it probably saw someone doing 52 in a 50 and went to ticket them.

I don't know yet, i think it was supposed to have been picked up from where it was found, but the towing company knows nothing about it and it's not where it was - so, hopefully someone at the police station knows whewe it is, otherwise it's been stolen again (again)
