So buy something less worth while to steal. Or if you really love your ZXR too much put some Honda or Yamaha Stickers on it.

If all else fails get a bloody big dog and teach him to pillion.

It's my first ZXR250, had fairly low k's - dunno about now...

Had a brand new set of pirellis on it when it was pinched etc, so can't wait to see how it looks

I get the payout for the crashed bike this week, so some new riding gear is in order - woo hoo, new gear!
awesome!, glad to hear some good news has come your way

Actually dude probably the best bet if ya want ya bike to stay safe is to plaster it with suzuki badges-
You will have to pay people to steal it
But it will have to be lots cos theyll all feel sorry for ya
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

    Heh

could just turn the stickers around and call it an ikasawak

I eventually tracked the bike down, it got sent to the wrong towing yard

It's pretty neglected as you would expect, but it's all there, and it hasn't done many k's in my absence. Still lots of tread left on the pirelli's I put on before it was pinched.

Nice to finally have it in my clutches!

Should really consider a better one, just using a bike chain and padlock, plus a padlock on the disk

Great news to hear you got your bike back. Scum took one of mine in late 2002. Sadly, I hold out no hope of ever seeing it again.

Mate of mine had his heap of a CB900 stolen from his back garden, complete with a chain that could have held the Titanic anchor and padlock just to really take the piss. Not wanting to lose his no claims on what was worth less than his new crash helmet he got himself a tidy GPX600 and forgot about it.18 months later the police came round, they`d found his bike at the other end of the country, some poor bastard had bought it in good faith, stripped it right down and rebuilt a very tasty looking streetfighter out of it.Brit law is that if you buy a stolen bike,no matter how innocent you are personally,it goes right back to the owner so Steve got himself a spotless hot-rod with loads of tlc,and a lot of money, lavished on it.He sold it for £1800(about $5000),before it was nicked it was due to be broken for spares when the M.O.T(wof) ran out.

    Awesome!

Just goes to show that there is still hope that your baby will turn up again.

When mine was re-stolen a year ago I never thought I'd see it again
