    Suzuki C50C - Feedback please

Yay !!! I got my dispensation - so now Im buying a new bike.

LTNZ gave me Monday for test riding - so I have to hurry and make a decision!!!!

Looking at the Suzuki Fiest brouchure I saw the C50C - looks nice compaired against the standard C50 - on paper at least.

Has anyone seen one in the Metal? Does the tribal design look good or lousy?

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yes Ive seen one in person and sat on them and started them up.

I dont have the stats or the bikes in front of me, but from memory there isnt much difference other then the studded leathers.

Tribal design? The ones I saw had the same paint job.

Yep, same as below, seen em aint ridden it, though I have ridden the normal C50T, same engines/mechanicals, but with a bit of tribal design work.. The C50 motor at 805cc is a good alround engine, tons of torque one up, and good enough to tour two up with... though for serious 2 up riding I prefer the bigger 1500 as its just so easy on the engine and gears. Any of the C50 range are a great bike to step up to, good centre of gravity, (one up they handle like a much much lighter bike.. surprising I think you will find...
But its the old story.. take it for a test ride, and try one or two others to see which "fits" you best..

Go for it, I got the (Much) earlier model - Volusia and it is a great bike, lovely handling, great with 2 up it's really all you need if you are looking for a comfortable, reliable cruiser.

Oops - sorry about the above - that is what happens when you post using a mobile phone browser!

Anyway - thanks for the comments guys. I went to the local Suzuki dealer and had a look at the C50C - Personally I did not like it - flames are ok as part of a paint job - but tribal stickers look cheap IMHO.

However - I did like the M50, and more importantly so did my wife. So its top of the shopping list Monday

I look forward to heading out on one of the North Shore cruiser rides!

I've just picked up a 2005 M50 and love it. Was a little concerned about the size but i've got used to it pretty quick. Even managed to lane split for a while on the northen m'way. It funny but it feels like a big bike when you have the lane to yourself but somehow feels smaller when it needs to be. I'm currently looking at exhaust options as the stock pipes are a little too quiet, especially compared to what i have been used to. I've had truck drivers toot and a bus driver stop and undo his doors and say "cool bike bro!". It def gets a bit of attention.

I checked out the c50 & c50c. didn't like the flames on the c50c as I think it makes it looked crap. And ended up grtting the red/black one whick I found alot better in color

    C50T rocks my world.

    Great bikes to ride.

Definately turns heads too. Although the kids keep telling me to Pimp my Ride.

I prefer the standard pipes, no sense in drawing any unwanted attention to ones self.

But I am gonna invest in a full size engine guard.
Saw one on a C50T at the remberance run in Taupo and it looked great.

Dont forget to check out the Shadow and Vulcan for comparison.

    Cheers

I waved at you as you cruised past on the motorway just leaving Silverdale this morning, too. I was in the Honda again... Didn't catch up to you or the biker in front, though, I had the cruise set at 110. Heard you coming up behind me before I saw you and could hear you pretty clear from a fair ways back as you pulled ahead, too!

Hoping to take the bike up to Pauanui this weekend to try out our new helmets and intercoms. Health issues mean I don't get out as much as I'd like, but me and the Docs are workin' on it...

Tank, you realise we want pics ASAP?

hey guys, what do you think of the s40? i saw one today and its tiny as! looked up on the net and its only 130kg dry, anyone know what sort of power it puts out?
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
