That pea metal caught me a bit. They last sealed the road in the first week of November last year; so why is there new gravel on the road? It is a great bit of road though; well worth the stooge through Wainui to get to.

Second to last week of September I think. They've extended it. It used to be the beginning of October.
I'm actually planning to start these rides up down here once daylight savings kicks in (along with a couple of other guys).
