Oh they're bad. FXR's weren't exactly designed for traveling distances or at night. The headlight has 25w bulbs. I'm told you can put slightly stronger ones in, but they don't help all that much. I'm not that worried. I've survived with them for a year and a half now and I've only got another few months til I get another bike. Until then I'll just keep eating carrots.

    Thanks anyway

Anyone is welcome Grub. So long as the weather is half pie decent, there is always someone there every week. Last week there was so many we split into two groups - a faster group headed to the Takas and the cruisy group went to the beach!
(well, a pub actually, but it was beside a beach....)
Experience......something you get just after you needed it

Take it from me they do.... Lyn's daughter came to visit from Christchurch a few weeks back and once she'd gone back, Lyn got rat arsed!!

So what's the drill? We just watch here for the meeting point and time? I have to get there from P'ram so it takes a bit of planning coz I have to go the short way ... Paekak Hill Rd, Haywards, Whitemans Valley and into town

Meeting point is at the Avalon duck pond, just over the Kennedy-Good Bridge. 6pm.

    Xmas Light Cruise

Since it is Xmas can I place an advance suggestion for this wednesdays ride.

Firstly start with our usual cruise somewhere but end back in the hutt.

    Quiet beer...

Then cruise again down what I think is Riverside Drive and adjacent areas checking out all the house where families decided to Light up their houses with Xmas spirit.

Thoughts, Suggested routes, Place you have seen that we should check out...??
Need something to do when not riding??? Come and learn to dance with us at www.cerocstars.co.nz

    Thats a good idea but....

It may not be very dark until quite late.... and riding bikes in those areas full of inattentive car drivers and crowds of peds while trying to gawp at the purdy lights may not be all that much fun...

Just my opinion of course - it is a good idea...
