    Thumbs up

    Well, i'm absolutely shagged!

    Supposed to get up at silly o'clock to meet Beyond & FishSlayer; only my battery died so no alarm clock; an hour late i'm playing catch up on an already 40 minute trip to the meeting point;

Got there ( thanks Valentine ) just after 11 to see Josh, Paul & Shaun stripping teh gixxer down

Well.. a HUGE trip and i'd have to say a HUGE thanks to Shaun for your time and knowledge... THANKS MATE! i hope teh whiskey lasts at least one good session

left just after 8, got back at 6 and i'm shagged! awesome ride, awesome countryside and a nice burger and beer and good company and i get a properly setup honday to boot .. good on ya mate! see you on a track soon i hope

did i mention i'm shagged? ( good luck Paul getting your H.A.R.D. system running.. that way i don't need to take the lead and we can run faster paces ) and now i'm in need of two more tyres

Sweet as, that rear was definately rooted

Before you do change them, just check the pressure for me mate and PM what is/was, cause I am guessing they are on the low side

Have to say a big thanks to Shaun for setting up my bike, feels so much more planted now and not saggy in the rear when getting back on the juice out of corners. Looking forward to giving it a good run on some road I know.

Highly recommend Shaun to anyone who has suspensions problems or is in need of accessories. Top bloke, very helpful and very knowledgable....and he makes a good cuppa coffee too.

The ride down was pretty good other than the freezing cold fog through the waikato. Pretty good roads right the way through really, only took us 3 hours including a 15min stop in Otorohonga.

Shaun I will let you know how it feels once I've taken for a good ride on some local roads, but so far so good!.

Shaun, if you saw the text messages he sends me you'd understand. Sometimes I can't sleep at night thinking about being molested by Bjorn from Abba whilst I'm hogtied and he keeps calling me Agnetha....

    it's freaky, freaky shit.....

Thank you so much for your time today Shaun!

    Before: Understeer, rough ride.

After: Understeer virtually eliminated, much smoother ride (especially considering the rooted rear shock)

Best way that I can illustrate the effectiveness of the set up is as follows:

Ol' cooked bread here got a bit confident on a downhill dusty lefthander on SH43 (beautiful road), causing both wheels to step out in perfect symphony (first time that it's happened to me like that, normally it's one, then the other, and all a bit ragged)...

The balance was sweet! The bike realigned itself without drama, perfectly smooth, no unwanted wiggles or twitches...stunning...flattering too.

I owe ya Shaun. Hope to send business your way when I can.

    Thanks again,
    Phil

(PS: sorry it took me about 10 seconds to realise it was you waving to me at Te Kuiti...3 hrs sleep the night before...brain was beginning to shut down)

You're welcome mate, you did look quite proud of your self when I saw you at Te Kuiti. Bloody great we got it a lot better for you, and apart of why I decided to this was, I know some of you guys push along on ya scooters ( Only in the write conditions of course) and I kept reading about bad handling bikes and stuff like that so, I did what I am doing to try to give you guys a much smoother/safer ride when youre out playing Racing!

And I would be a liar if I did not say it is a marketing idea for my buisness, and I still get a huge buzz out of making bikes better, it is what I do best in life.

    Stay safe!

bit late here, but I vouch for Shaun's work any day..
Even just setting up stock stuff can be made way better. Shaun proved that to me, but then went the extra mile by rebuilding them and getting a ok bike to a race spec.. impressed..
