sport bikers are adrenalin junkies which means they have huges nuts.

tourers that dont understand whats so great about sport bikes have itty bitty pea sized ones
Pah, I cast scorn upon you sir!

The same corner that a sprotsbike wafts around with aplomb and ease is a different story on a cruiser.

On a cruiser at an even lower speed you have a teeth-clenching arse-pucker zorst-scraping 'fuggit-fuggit-fuggit get round ya bitch' type ride accompanied by sparks and a whiffy smell.

Now THAT lets loose gallons of adrenalin AND requires watermelon-sized goolies too.

Ah yes...rode home from the Pissed Penguin rally in the weekend.
Two hours without stop passing everything in sight and taking no corners prisoner....back in record time.
The funnest ride I've had in ages but when I stopped I couldn't walk or sit down in comfort.
Grins and grimaces in equal measure.
There's got to be some payback I guess.

Please note, the author does not encourage excessive speed, don't try this at home.
All manouevres were carried out on closed roads and under controlled conditions.

If this is your true perception of motorcycling you should clearly be posting on KiwiCommuter.co.nz. You call your self a "biker"?

The purpose of a motorcycle is to get from point A to point B. Different folks will have different ideas of how the journey should be; as fast as humanly possible (sportsbike); comfortably (crusiers); as far as possible (tourer). But in no case does the appearance of a bike in any way have any bearing on its ability to perform its task. So why all the talk about appearances?

Apperance to me is about individuality, hence why i paint my bikes in my own personal theme instead of a standard OEM/GP copy job.

Id rather be myself instead of another sheep of the flock (god damn conformists)

What's with the sprotsbike riders? As you say!

Shit man its got nothing to do with a big cock.
Its about going faaast. The challenge of it, the thrill of it, the feel of pushing the machine, even if your ability is only pushing it 75% you are still pushing yourself 100%.

Jeepers man 1/2 the sports out there are about skill combined with the thrill of speed. Karting, F1, Moto gp, Moto x, any motorsport come to think of it. Why the heck do you think KB track days are so popular!!
Then you have, down hill sking, water sking, Mountain biking, flying sprints, jet boat sprints, all forms of speedway, Ice hockey and a thousand other sports.

Then add the thousands of spectators that "get it" and like to watch any sort of speed sport for their own partial fix of speed and admiration of the daring & skill of the participants!!

Jeepers 80% of the sports out there have speed as their basis. Even a good game of Rugby.

I got nothing whatsoever against cruiser riders but Jeepers man think about it before posting dumb arse questions!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

the only thing is that cruser riders usually see fit to wear chaps.
now i dont know about you but every time i fallen off the ass has been scratched off my gear.
this leads me to believe that cruser riders like anal sex as chaps are not good for anythign exept quick and easy access.

Hmm, has anyone bothered to post all the links from all the posts that were nearly exactly the same as Viragos post, but with the words "sports bike" replaced with "cruiser" and "speed" replaced with "look" etc... except those ones were actually serious posts.

I can think of 4 distinct ones over the last few months but I know there are way way way more then that.

    Funny.

    Edit--

And I remember one recent post that seemed actually honest and genuinely interested in the asked about cruisers

    Edit2 --

After a quick look, all the threads that started off like this but about cruisers and not a piss take have been moved to Pointless Drivel i think
