Errrmm, there is a simple answer to this dilemna.
Get a GSX1400
Then you get all the adrenaline rush you need, heaps of power through torque and cubes, awesome handling in the tight stuff, all day comfort, speed and all in a package way cheaper than most sports bikes including
600's.
You can ride all day hard in comfort if you want, no sore wrists or neck (except when over 230kmh for prolonged periods) no sore knees and when you get where you want you can do it all over again. You have enough storage for a dog turd kit, a full set of waterproofs, tools, water bottle and disck lock etc and of course play lunch
Plus you can still do all that with a pillion who will also be comfortable.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

The guy who started this thread is an idiot.
I have a confession to make. I found out later in life that my first bike was a classic "dykes on bikes" mount. How was I to know?
My next bike was a old mans bike. I didn't know at the time honest.
Now I have a bike that people call gay? Damn!
I just cant win

I'd just like to step in and say that i have no problem with cruiser riders, i wave at them all the time ... they seem to ignore me tho and every now and then give me the finger... perhaps your looking in the wrong direction??
A little respect goes a long way.
