Seriously, I am starting to get sick of this anti helmet thing. Generally I don't mind, but lately it's niggling me. Mainly because I can't see any justification at all for it.

It is claimed it is "because robbers wear helmets". Yeah? Bet they wear trousers , too, so how come everybody isnt required to remove their trousers.

I don't believe the "robbers" justification, I think its down to anti-biker prejudice and simple bloodymindedness.

Helmets stop your face from being on camera, you wouldnt complain if you went into a bank and they asked you to remove your helmet. Yet petrol stations are FAR FAR FAR more likey to be robbed.

Just take your helmet off and we can all live peacefully. (although sarge I can see why you don't want to take off your helmet - your face will scare the kids)

i took the Flying Pig up to get some gas at the Mobile on Dominion & Mt. Albert today ( since i couldnt make it to Kumeu..).. mmmmm 98 octane...

anyhoo...all i needed was a pack of smokes and pay for my gas and i was outie.. i didnt bother to remove my helmet and one glove .. i walked in and there was this black ghost in a Burka and her pack of kids in the store.. full face Burka mind you...

i walked up to the counter and asked for a pack of smokes and the minimum wage drone behind the counter (quoting now ..) said..
