If you have a yellow Hyosung GTR250...

...and were at the end of the NW motorway when I split past, I'd just like to say, "Nice bike"

I reckon they look pretty good in the showroom, and even betterer surrounded by cages. And it's yellow! My fave bike colour.

Methinks could be WarlockNZ - he lives out that way....and your VTR250 is actually a more powerful bike than the GT250R!

i agree - both the faired and unfaired model looks great but the faired is wayyyyy nicer

AND they got the RIGHT colour for yellow - not CREAME or ORANGE for once..... the only other vehicle with the right yellow at the moment is the v8 whatjamacall it ford falcon. not even holden got it right which is surprising cos every other colour on the holdens is WAY better than the fords colours.

I have to agree that the Koreans have done a great job with the styling of the GT250R - I would love to get clip on's and a full fairing made for the VTR then it truly would be the perfect 250 but since I'll be doing my restricted in a month and a half and then getting my full licence hopefully 3 months after that (Bring on the TL1000/SV1000/VTR1000/Cagiva Raptor 1000 test rides!) there doesn't seem to be much point in modifying the bike further.

Those new tyres of yours should be well scrubbed in by now WarlockNZ - scratching the footpgs on the corners yet?

Hey Warlock, I'm pretty sure I see you all the time on the NW. I'm on the yellow VTR1000 with pack rack :P

Just got new pipes couple of weeks ago and I had to get some ear plugs. Ohhh the irony

Nice to hear your yellow peril is working well! Hope to get out to your neck of the woods sometime so I can spot ya! I gotta friend up Kumeu ways so it shouldn't be too much of an ask!

Don't buy nice anodised footpegs to do the scratchies on the cornering!

Worlds first Twin Turbo Korean 250 motorcycle. With Nitrous Oxide. Nice. I like the way you think. Could see the service interval drop to oh....260km?

You won't have too long before you get you're full licence though you're nearly as old as me.

And it would still only make 29Hp and do a top speed of 160 going down hill with a tail wind while flying a spinaka.

If you were in a racers crouch trying to get to 100 headed towards the Te Atatu exit yesterday, I saw ya but I was in a cage picking up the girls from school. I reckon you're best to try on a downhill though.

The racing crouch is good for an extra 10kmph

    Headwind -10kmph

    Tailwind +10kmph

Only 6 months to go before I can get my full then I can get something with a bit more grunt
