    What is it about bikes?

    What is it about bikes?

Everytime I go for a jaunt and pull up at some cafe or pub for a drink.
Some mindless (usually pissed dickhead) decides , that is perfectly ok to leap into my face and start telling me how wonderful motor cycling is.

I wouldnt mind if the useless pricks actually had motorcycles or I had invited them to join me and my mate. But I can t seem to find a single place where some jumped little shit head with to much piss on board, thinks its ok to hijack my day out.

    Rant over

You'd probably whinge if everyone ignored you too. I wouldn't be too keen either if everyone who wanted to talk bikes was pissed but there are plenty of non-pissed people who want to chat and it can be a good occasion to do a bit of promoting the cause.

I ride a Suzuki and no one hassles me - maybe it is cause I am such a grumpy looking bastard

You forgot your Do Not Disturb sign.

I actually quite enjoy the fact that people will stop and have a chat with you if you have a bike. They're probably just jealous they don't have a bike anymore/wish they had one.

The way motorcycles break down the normally applied barriers of our society is one of the many things I love about motorcycling. I think it's great the way people feel that they can just wander up and yack to you about stuff, or make you most welcome in their premises. BMW drivers, eat your poncey hearts out!

What are you doing on a social bike forum then? I always enjoy a chat about the bike... If you don't want people to talk to you, you should drive a bmw x5...
