Oh my you big boy, you managed a whole 6 hours at a stretch - we are impressed. Now if you can multiply that by between 3 and 4 times you'll be around the same time as the 1000 miler riders.

Looks like you've got a few options RM-bubble wrap, wooliemoo or replacement seat foam. Or you could buy a TL, which is brobably the cheaper option anyway

Let us know how you get on ah.

What about a hybrid - glue some bubble wrap to the underside of a sheepskin!!!
I didn't realize TL's went for such giveaway prices?

Geez how to respond to this one - they always put those things near the bloody toothpaste as well - the women looking in there can get a bit fidgity when you take too long selecting your new tube. - maybe thats just that time.... fk I'll get crucified on here if I go down that road.

I presume Edbear is more worried about being able to still see his feet and everything else in that direction - I suppose they stock our single digit rubber gloves in that aisle as well?

    Sheeskins...

When touring or rallying, I always use my sheepskin on my seat.. makes the trip more comfortable.. plus.. it doubles as an underlay for my bed too!! It's just a standard sized old sheepskin & I hook a bungy over the front bit & use my pannier straps to secure it at the back.. you can kinda see it in my profile pic. Never had any problems with using the sheepskin either. oh, & if it starts raining too heavy, I stuff it in my pannier where my wet weather gear.. was! Good luck with the hell mission trip!!! safe journey.

I use a sheepskin on long trips, just put the panniers on it over the back of the seat, doesn't normally move to much, one of these days I will make a strap for the front, if it ever causes a problem

Yup! I'm a bit lighter than my profile pic now, though.

I used to have this saying about leftovers - "If it's gonna go to waste, it might as well go to mine...!"

I've got down from 98kg to 93kg, but seem to have landed on a bit of a plateau. Keep on trying though. Allus say, "No one more tryin' than me!"
