    X5's are cool. Road superiority.
Agreed. Mind you it should have some priority just to get these sorts sorted before they actually do wast someone due to their driving and its possible that said cause of inattention or bad driving is drug or booze related so go after them ASAP. But you are right of course that this wouldn't really happen.

What? Ignoring something blatent right in front of you to attend to a possible crime someplace else? I might cause her to think twice before she cleans you up next trip...

So I'd say it's a sensible use of power myself.

X5's maybe cool in Auckland Finn old chap but honestly, they are definately not cool any place else.... Except maybe in a compactor. Now toyota Starlets mate - thems cool...

We have improved a lot over the last year with dedicated burglary squads and crime squads being utilised better.

EDIT: careless driving complaints taken across the counter are sent to a dedicated traffic enquires officer who charges them. If people ring up and state they are following someone whose driving is dangerous or careless Police will look for him.
Good yarn man. I think we have a pretty good police force here. I'm damn glad you buggers are out there doing it.
