I love the difference in size between the intake pipe and the exhaust pipe!

    ----------------------------

I was riding through Kawerau last weekend. I saw a young guy riding an old pushbike with a custom stretched front-end. The front forks would have been around five feet long!

Yeah, he said in the auction he wanted $1500 or something, but refused to guarantee the welds, etc, and admitted it wasn't certified yet. Maybe uncertifiable? He was also not the builder, but had bought it through trademe and was selling it on again. Wonder why? He sold it successfully, but perhaps the new owner will be listing it on tardme soon if they find out it's not possible to make it a goer!

Still, it's the most interesting GN I've seen. Anyone got pictures of a more interesting GN?

Dammit, the top end of that motor could have gone on my bike, what a waste !!!. It must have been fun to build though. Not a bad effort really.

someone here has a custom painted tank on his....jack daniels i think? was on trademe in 04...the seller wanted $600 for it back then, but i dunno how much the member here paid for it. haw photos up a while back.

i wouldnt mind getting a second tank and having it painted up, but as i say, not really worth doing that to a ginny unless you plan on taking it to the grave with you.

i just about bought that one (was $50 short at the time) ... owner decided to finish up the project, he was changing the rear axle to a more heavy duty one and stuff from memory

thought that gn that the main post refers to was silly, maybe if it had a different seat it wouldnt be so bad in my eye
