    Not that I would encourage people to not wear appropriate riding gear. But, apart from your helmet, riding gear is really only there to save your skin. It will not stop posts going up your arse or protect you from impacting a car at high speed. It's your riding skills, both mental and physical, that will protect you from those..!
    If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

    Wow.. some distrubing pictures on that site.. glad I saw it though.. Yea protective clothing is a must.. going to stop wearing just my draggin jeans from now on Think i will look for a better helmet now too.

    man that is some serious shit.It's ALMOST enough to make you want to stop riding. I can't believe how many people don't wear safety gear, not even a helmet!

    I disagree, armour in ya gear will have quite a positive effect on damaging your body, and aparently quite a few bikers will die of blood loss after surviving the initial accident due to not wearing leathers/corduras etc.
