Sorry ours have three little displays; one on the left i think does the speed of nearby cars, one in the middle does the speed of car going the fastest speed on and the final one is the patrol car speed.

I meant that ours cant do both back and front at the same time.

2/ how come there are shit loads of mufti cops out there sat in lay byes etc wasting time which should be spent seeking the killers of those baby twins. (what the fcku happened to that case anyway?

All the rear atennas at central are mounted in the right corner so an officer can park on the side of the road and angle the radar tube toward's traffic.

Means that if you park in front of another parked car you dont have to send the radar signal through the car behind.

Guess you learn something new everyday Lou lol.

EDIT: actually there is one with a centrally mounted radar cause nautec ran out of the brackets for the corner mounted ones.

I'm with him - they're fitted right hand side of the car down here for the same reasons Dynamytus50 says, which also works when using the truck ahead as a mobile 'mai-mai' (or whatever you North Islanders call them).

Doesnt matter I only ever looked at the fastest speed, never tried to go for more than one car.

Lou, drop it man, the guy is a normal police officer, he has nothing to do with traffic. Only when forced to during newbie days. Hes actually dealing to proper crime. Give him a break man, hes a good guy, and rides a bike (even though its a Honda... give him shit about that)

The point is that there is no offence for poor cornering technique.

Crossing the centre line can be considered prima facie careless driving though but poor cornering technique is not an offence.

1:
You get caught speeding its an instant fine and demerit points, over +40 and its a 28 day licence suspension too, over +50 and its a court appearance on a fine only charge. A dangerous speed charge is possible if its +50 and the circumstances of the offence are particularly dangerous.

You get caught drink driving and its a court appearance, possible prison term, mandatory 6 months disqualification and a fine. The penalties increase for third and subsequent offences plus recidivists stand to have the vehicles confiscated and face likley indefinite disqualification.

Murder is an offence that is investigated by trained Criminal Investigation Branch Detectives. There is no point assigning traffic cops to investigate murder.

I did that at an intersection, pulled up next to a bunch of other riders and was slightly over the line while waiting to proceed.

I don't see how it was careless, but I accepted the fine because I did do it.

Poor cornering technique fines are a great idea, the Police would make a tidy sum watching KB rides ...
