    Textile biker jacket

Looking at ordering a Lookwell Aerodynamic Textile Jacket from Oz. It starting to get hot and I need something I can wear when I go someplace where I have to get off and walk about. Especially if I’m going shooting/hunting. I don’t fancy trudging up hill and dale in a leather jacket. Anyone else interested in getting one too?

I have an armoured textile jacket which I bought from the states. During the hot muggy Auckland summer it is AWESOME. Cant recommend this type of product strongly enough, especially If You work in an office and don't like your shirt stuck to You when You arrive at 8am. The trick is getting something which also offers protection. I chose mine(from lots of brands) after reading how they held up really well in several crashes. some don't fair that well and tend to turn to shreds in a slide 8-(.

Lookwell are the OEM for some really nice leather gear. All the MV Special Parts leather 1/2 piece suits are by lookwell. I've seen them up close and the quality is pretty sweet.

Surely you'd be put off by the rather "Gay" stance of the model sporting the jacket ??
    Not even with yours!!!

I just saw a nice Dririder mesh type bomber jacket at Motomail. Shoulder and elbow armour, removable waterproof liner, etc. Not badly priced at $299. Don't think it'll be as good as the Lookwell for off-bike activities though. It's bit heavy. Good for around town riding though. Are you listening Santa?
