    Dirty Girl

I'm stuck at work, chained to a desk :sneaky2:

Anywaaaaaaaaay, I have to ride up an unsealed road evey night to where I park my bike & she's getting a little dirty. I want to give her a real good clean but our house and hose are about 100m away from where I park.

My question is does anyone know of a car wash in Wellington that would let me use their cleaning facilities? I'd like to do it on a regular basis if I can and want to attack her with some degreaser too.

I just can't be arsed calling round all the car wash places to ask.

    Cheers Cathy

Use the drive-through carwash at your local service station.

    Wear goggles.

Well if she wears her helmet and riding gear she should be right!

Well I'd do wot I've always done at a blokes place - put the seat down before I use the loo! I'm not sure that we have a washaworld here.

Have a look around some mobils have FREE waterblasters provided by the carwash.

DO NOT use the carwash unless you plan to replace your chain. Tried this once on the advide of a older biker, sure he said park it on the treadle and leg it. A mates bike went over from the pressure, but mine? Afterwards there was a black goo running out of my chain and it was suddenly very sloppy. The chemicals are very corrosive. undiluted they eat metal, so it was not surprising that it ate my o rings.
