    Vance and Hines Exhaust

Am keen to get hold of a set of vance and Hines exhaust pipes plus kit etc but am need of advice. Which ones??? To suit a 2006 Honda Shadow VT750C. Any advice greatly appreciated. Theres a set on trade me but hes asking $1,000.00 thought I may be able to pick some up myself cheaper as well as new.

There will probably be a section on the V&H web page for exhausts for you bike, and there may be sound clips as well.

Also take a look here for a couple of V&H options from accross the ditch.

    Vance and Hines

Hey thanks for that checked out the Oz site and comes to $NZ978.00 and thats without the jets and air filter. Another one jp cycles (Yank site) is about $NZ700.00 same again no jets etc so maybe the one on trade me at $1,000 isnt that hard to swallow at all really.... Has anyone had experience at all with them. The guy at Custom Chambers in Auckland said they are crap too loud but I see plenty of them advertised????

It's a standard mod for my bike (Kawasaki Vulcan 800) to remove the first stage baffle, and its generally held that the V&H pipes are louder than performing that mod.

It might be worth looking around the net to see if there is any info on how to do a similar mod on the VT750C. Would be a lot cheaper, though obviously not reversible.

I recently subscribed to the Kawasaki motorcycle forums which has a whole section on Kwaka cruisers. Maybe there is one out there for Honda's?

    Vance and Hines pipes

Found Cobras to be better, they also have better plateing in regard to chrome. They are tripple plated and come std in 2.5 or 3 inch.

They should be available here for around $1000 new, look on Ebay, may save a bit otherwise talk to Rod from Custom Cruiser, he really helped me out with info. Think he's cruiser-parts on KB.
