    Cruiser pipes - Help! Pt2

    Thanks for the advice guys, I got round to drilling the holes over the weekend and I must admit while the sound isn't THAT much different it sounds pretty cool at low revs.

    So overall it doesn't do that much except make it sound a wee bit deeper with a bit of grunt, so if you are keen to try it then go for it, just make sure you don't fuck up your warrantee if you are going to do it.

    What I did was:
    1: Cut out the template and put small holes in the template which I marked with a silver marker
    2: Drilled with 5mm drill bit
    3: Enlarged to 8mm
    4: Went for a ride

    Just did mine today @ work,yea does sound a bit "gruntier" but not over the top,hapi with it,cheerz for the template.

    Just to let you know my bike went through WOF with no problems at all.

    My wallets crying though as I have just had a 30 000 service, WOF new front and back tyre and next month I've got to do the speedo housing

    Thats good, may have to do it to my xv250, did effect your power or anything.

    if it has affected the power it isn't noticeable on my bike....all good (touch wood)
