Lou's lament - the new Bandit

Just when Lou gets his new Bandit working properly, Suzuki introduces a new "must have" 1250cc water cooled new one. And, what is Suzuki doing to its GSX1400 owners?

Yeah, what are they doing for us GSX1400 owners.

Apparently a Busa engine based sports tourer? The Bking thingy I saw doesn't look to hot in pics either.

Ahh yes but those Busa engines have got potential you know...! Though I reckon Naked engines should still have that finned look ..

No disrepect to the Busa mate, but they are detuning it plus you are right. They need to have cooling fins, just doesn't look quite naked, does it.

no photoshop new bandit 1250 water cooled

'he Bandit is reborn for 2007 with new liquid cooled, fuel injected engines across the entire line-up. Offering subtle update styling and major technical changes, the Bandit 1200 goes to 1250cc for 2007, offering improved dynamics throughout. The 2007 Bandit 1250's classic tube-frame chassis features larger diameter downtubes, increasing torsional rigidity by 10%. Seat height can be adjusted up or down 20mm by removing, flipping over an re-installing clever mountain spacers between the seat and the frame rails. Bandit 1250 and 1250S are available with optional ABS. Both models will be available in three colours, Metallic Graphite Blue, Pearl Nebular Black and Candy Sonoma Red.'

funny enough .,.. they are NOT bringing that model into NZ at this point ..they still have a surplus of 1200 cc air cooled engines they are sticking with for the NZ market

Just do what Harely does and engineer a water cooled engine and then stick cooling fins on for "looks" no form over function in that company............

No disrespect to bandit owners but it's just so generic and characterless. Don't get me wrong it's a great bike but it's just....I dunno...they might as well paint the thing "beige".
It's like it's deliberately designed to be inoffensive. What ever happened to the original character that the first bandit's had?

Bandits are meant to be inoffensive, it is us the Bandit riders who are supposed to be noticed and full of character.
